Westminster Water Tower
Westminster is a lovely small town located almost half way between Lake Keowee to the east and the Tugaloo River to the west making it a great base for exploring Oconee County.

Modern and unique shops line Old Main Street inviting residents and visitors to come and shop. And there are several roads under railroad tracks or trestle bridges in the town – more than in any other SC city.

Apple Festival on Street

The yearly Apple Festival celebrates the beginning of the Apple harvest here in Oconee County, the largest apple producing area in South Carolina. Activities include whitewater rafting, a world championship rodeo, live musical entertainment, rides and attractions for the children and the opportunity to taste apples!

Westminister Depot
The restored Train Depot stands proudly
along railroad tracks the continue in use
today. There are more than 100 homes
built in the late 1800s and early 1900s
that reflect a great architectural heritage. Approximately 90% of these homes are inhabited and carefully maintained,
adding to the charm of the town.
Westminster Presbyterian Church
The Westminster Presbyterian Church
is the oldest standing church in Westminster.
